- A graduate degree
- Any of the following skills or degrees: military intelligence, finance, accounting, business, international studies, information systems, computer science, engineering, hard sciences (chemistry, biology, etc)
- If one possesses a degree in psychology, criminal justice or political science, one must possess another of the above-mentioned critical skills to be considered to become an FBI agent in Utah
